Normally, Jaunt-based applications (such as RapidAssist) are launched
in-place simply by clicking on a web link. Sometimes this is not successful due
to the following reasons:
-
Browser security settings: some network
administrators restrict automatic downloads of ActiveX controls. Because an
ActiveX control can have full access to your system, it is critical to use the
same care you would when downloading any other program over the Internet.
- Incompatible browser: fully automated in-place activation
is supported only for MS Internet Explorer version 4 or better. Partial
automation is supported for Netscape.
-
Operating System: Windows 95, 98, NT 4 sp6, 2000, ME
or XP is required.
